365 Cards: Sketchy Sunday Aug 23~

It's Sunday again and you know what that means, right?? Sketch time, 365 Style!
Here is today's sketch. Another great one from Pam:
And here is what I chose to do today:
I wanted to get a jump on first day of school gifts. This is a card for teacher. I want to make up a little goodie bag to go with it, but then I wondered... will the teacher think we are kiss-ups??? I definitely don't want to cause any problems for my DS. So I thought I would ask you what your opinion is. Have you ever given first of the year gifts to your kids teachers? And if so, what was/is it? Or do you think its going overboard a bit? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear your thoughts on the matter. Until then, here is a little close up of the cards tag:
I used a jewelry jump ring to add my hanging apple. Really easy to do and gives you a fun detail. I figure if I decide not to give this to teacher, it will still work ok for my DS who might need a little love in his lunchbox on the first day of school. Ok, so that's it everyone. Get hoppin' and craft up your own sketchy card!
Have a good one~

I don't think it's kissing up in a bad way. I think it's very thoughtful.

I wish my kids gave me a card like that on the first day of school - but since I homeschool, I'd have to make it myself for myself. LOL

I love your card, esp. the dangly apple! I wish I'd get a first day of school card like that! I homeschool, so like Gina, I'd have to make my own! LOL
