Pink Persimmon SWEET!

Here is a little something I made over at Pink Persimmon to get a jump start on the LOVE month! I love that you really can make a card with just about any stamp:

I used the SWEET sentiment over and over and over and over (uh, I am sure you get the point!) I also wanted to use the wagon stamp all by itself and prove that you don't need to color it. Did I succeed? Well, after adding the hearts the rest is history!

This is just the first of a few Pink Persimmon cards and projects that I will be sharing with you in the next few weeks so stay tuned!

For A Good Boy: Scrapbook News and Review

This is the other project I wante to share with you that was used in the Nov. issue of Scrapbook News and Review!:
I love this kid and his tree. (It's a sparkly tree even though you can't really see it.) Another Pink Persimmon set that is just a joy to work with (have I told you lately that you should buy it??? Uh yeah, you should!) It's a pretty big image when its all said and done, so I popped it up with dots on some pattern paper. The sentiment was fussy cut from another patter paper (by the same company). I was originally going to give this to one of my boys, but you know, I forgot and they aren't big enough to read it anyway. I think this will stay in the stash until they are a bit older and I can pull the whole "good boy" thing for Christmas ; )

Thats all for today. Getting closer to the New Year people! I can't believe its a new decade. Hope this one is better than the last, cause I think we could use it!

Pink Persimmon Fabric Card

How was your holiday yesterday? (uh, you U.S. peeps?!) We went on a little pumpkin picking rampage and got some apples too. We came home and made caramel for our apples and colored our pumpkins and got them set on the porch. Unfortunately I feel I am coming down with something. That can never be good. I hope if it is coming it comes and goes fast! But until then, here is a little something to look at for today:

It's all fabric background with my little Pink Persimmon girl and her wagon 'o books. Doesn't that look fun!? I would love to sit with a wagon of books and read the day away! I coloredwith pencils, but paper pieced her dress. A lot of you out there said you loved this set, so I thought I would play around with it! It is quite fun I must say ; )
