Paper Wings Productions: September Challenge

Hello there! Can you believe it's September? How in tarnation did that even happen?! (and yes, I do say that every month!)
Well regardless, it is a surprise to me, but what it does mean is there is another fun challenge over at The Aviary with Paper Wings Productions! Which you know, really kicks off September with a bang!

This month's challenge is to use fibers... twine/ribbon/string... you know, anything fiber-ish!

My challenge card today features the Sacred Geometry set, which is a pretty versatile set, if I do say so myself...

Meet, me carrrrrd! (why I have developed a pirates accent, is beyond me!)

I chose to use some twine to add detail to my stamped flowers. First I stamped my flowers and then masked them off to stamp my leaves. I colored the images with Copic markers.

I first added some pin holes to the tip of each petal to help with the sewing. This looks complicated, but I assure you it went fast! And, the added bonus of the twine is it hides my Copic mess-ups!

Once that was done I used the "hello" stamp from Vintage Technology and positioned it next to my die cut until I settled on where I liked it. Adhere that little thing with some washi tape. It's cute, and helpful!

I LOVE the look of the die cut white on white.

I then added enamel dots to each flower centre and popped up my panel on a white card base with demensional tape.

Honestly this is one of those cards that when you get done you think, No WAY! That actually turned out ok and not one curse word! Whew! That's just awesomeness in my book ; )
I quite like it...

Ok, so now it's your turn. Look through your Paper Wings Productions stamps and see what you can add twine to. I think you might agree that it adds some real oomph to your stamped images!

Thanks for stopping in today...
