Hey there people! Today is a fabulous Sunday all set up with one great sketch from Pam and a super fun 365 Card blog hop! So lets get started!
Here is today's sketch:
I was really excited about this one because I have the perfect triangle stamp from Pink Persimmon. Here is my take on today's sketch:Happy Halloween!!! I paired up some Papertrey Ink paper/stamps and Pink Persimmon. I feel like I have been using this paper a lot, but you know how that goes....
Today's Blog Hop is a fun one because I get to list 7 random facts about myself and then I will send you onto the next blog. Are you ready????
1. When I was young (but still old enough to know better) I cut the hair off ALL of my Barbies (about 10) and stuffed the hair behind my toy chest to hide the deed from my mother.
2. I play the guitar and sing in my *spare* time.
3. My favorite fast food is Papa John's Pizza. (Although it's not THAT fast)
4. I graduated with a BFA in Acting and Directing.
5. I have been in a Casino commercial. ; )
6. My favorite candy is Butterfinger.
7. I come from a family of 7 kids!!
That's it folks. Pretty random, but fun! I would love to get to know you better too. So be sure to leave me a comment here and you will be entered to win one of two Mac Mae Card Kits from Pam!!! So be sure to leave a comment and now hop on over to visit SOPHIE!!!
Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteHi Miss Kristie, first I LOVE your card! The paper, stamp all of it just great! Papa John's is also my favorite pizza, in fact, you won't believe this, but I had to talk my son (regrettingly) out of dropping out of college to open a franchise and now he is one of the recruiters for the Target commercials... I will pass your name on to him, he's always looking for new talent!

ReplyDeleteOooh, I love those papers because it can be used for so much more and definitely perfect for Halloween. Look how you did the ribbon - very cute idea. You and I have #s 6 and 7 in common. You cut off all the hair on Barbie? Ohhhh...sorry, I had to laugh because when I was younger, I wanted Barbie and my mom thought Twiggy was better (yeah, back then). I hated that short hair. LOL! Thank you for sharing those fun facts, Ms. Star. Now we'll be looking for you in those commercials so we can tell others we know your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat colour and design paper combination on your card.
ReplyDeleteI think we ARE sisters. I also cut all the hair off my Barbies and all my dolls. And I am one of 7 kids! I am next to last in the line-up. My mom is one of 15...my poor dad was one of 3 but he was raised as an only by his grandparents! That man did not stand a chance!
ReplyDeletemy friend's kids earlier in the year cut hair off their dolls (she thought it was off the cat at first!) - and how did she find out - they put the hair in the bin to be tidy so they wouldn't be shouted at. still makes me laugh!
ReplyDeleteWhat's Butterfinger candy?
I like the 2 different scales of pattern, it works really well.
Pretty card - the colors are bright and colorful. I like how you put the ribbon. My sister would always cut the barbie dolls hair - she is now a hair dresser. Guess that is what she liked to do as a child and npw as an adult.
ReplyDeleteRebecca:)
