Ok people. I totally missed yesterday all together. We got on the road really late, got to the hotel and crashed and now I am sitting in a Panera Bread using their free Wi-Fi trying to get this posted. Today's 365 Card Challenge is called "It's what's inside that counts" Basically you should make a card where the image on the outside matches the sentiment which should be on the inside. And here is the real kick... it must be a MISS YOU card. SO here is my little contribution:
Again... a bit bright. There are two little eggs stamped by the sentiment. Missing You. So sad! I actually mis-read the challenge (again!) and made up a different card that I will share with you tomorrow. But I quickly made up this one to actually fit the challenge. You know how I like to follow the rules (*wink wink* Gloria!)
So that's it for today's card. We are heading back up to NY tonight and will probably be driving late again but I will use Panera for a little bit longer to get my post scheduled so you can see a card tomorrow. We just came down quick to help some family check on a house they are renting. The rest of the week we have a birthday party planned, a Mets game and some pepper jelly to put up. Should be a fun time!
And for those of you who may be interested, we found out the gender of our baby yesterday. Drum Roll Please...... It's A BOY!!! That makes 3 boys people. 3!!! What is a girl to do??? Actually I am quite happy about it all. I love boys. They are fun and happy and keep me running, but I can't complain really. They love their moms and that makes me smile. Now we are baby name hunting. Any of you have suggestions, I am happy to hear it!!
Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you are up to!

Kristie, Congrats. I just love little boys.
ReplyDeleteYour card is absolutely perfect for someone who will soon be doing a little bit more nesting.
Your card is perfect! Congrats on the news! I for one would like to see a precious little girl as I have 5 nephews and my two boys makes 7 grandsons for my parents! My youngest sister will be 44 in Oct so these boys better get busy!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! (I can never get pictures just right, either...I've actually given up trying)
ReplyDeleteAnother boy! Congrats - and at least the hand-me-downs can be handed down one more time. :)
mmmmm pepper jelly..........
Congratulations Kristie. Three strapping boys to take care of Mum. I adore your card today it is so cute and it will be how I feel soon when my youngest moves out in the next couple of weeks. I will suffer with empty nest syndrome so much lol.

Firstly congratulations on your news, I too loved my boys to bits. But my daughter was so precious as she was the only girl in a whole host of boys in the family. My boys are Barnaby & Nicholas, or Barney & Nick. If I had another boy he would have been named Todd. I am to be a grandma again in January and they have chosen not to know the sex so we're all excited here too.
ReplyDeleteNow down to business, and your card is a stunner. Such a clever take on the challenge.
Good luck on choosing the name. xxx
You are just too clever! I loved when the picture and the words clicked in my head: "NEST, EMPTY, EMPTY NEST!" And you are posting from the road, no less. You are a marvel.
ReplyDeleteI love boys, that's why I am still in scouting after my son is done. My son's name is Logan and if he had gotten lucky enough to have a brother, he would have been named Nolan. We loved Louis L'Amour westerns and one of the Sackett family's had twin boys named Nolan and Logan. The name Logan wasn't that popular in 1990 but boy it sure is now! Congratulations...I would have loved to had 3 boys. I'm such a tom-boy myself!
ReplyDeleteYay, congrats on finding out about your baby boy!! I'm afraid I have no good suggestions, but I have a list of girl names that I love ;)
ReplyDeleteyahoooo for the baby boy :) You shall remain queen of the household...
ReplyDeleteSWEET card...
Congratulations on another boy! I really like your card too! ~~Pam
ReplyDeletethis is such a sweet card and love the eggs inside :0) lucky you another boy!!!! boys are so fun (and mine were much easier as teens then their sister was! LOL)
ReplyDeleteBoys are so much fun so congrats! I guess you will be thinking blue for awhile now. LOVE the card and I understand the deal of finding internet when you are traveling. I've sat in a few Starbucks!
