Thanks

On no... its the first of June, can you believe it!?!?!? Where is life going so fast already? What's its hurry?... sheesh!

It was a super busy weekend here, so I thought I would post this card in case I didn't get to make anything new. (it was my submission for Card Patterns DT). I have been trying not to craft on Sundays so I can spend time with my family, which has proven to be quite difficult. I ALWAYS want to craft and when DH is here to watch the kiddos, how can I not?? But it is also the only day where we are all together, so I feel its important to interact with them and not my paper and ribbon. *sigh* But I find if I have something ready for Monday then I don't have to break my no crafting rule!  Ok enough blab... here it is:

So even though this is an 'old' card, I wanted you to know I was thinking of you and that your eyes might want to see something today! What do you think? I went totally green and earthy. I just love Kraft paper so much and this cute Basic Grey leaf/vine image from the Off Beat collection. They have really cute bitty stamps that are fun.

So there were a few of you who asked about the wedding on Saturday. It was a wonderful, beautiful day full of old friends and love. So it was fabulous! The sun was shining and thank goodness no one got arrested! The cops did show up, but did not shuffle people away, although they were sure to warn us not to get into the bike lane every second they could. I have just a few pics to share. Here is the best pic of the bridge, although its a pic of me, not the bride and groom... sorry AND my big fat head is in the middle of it! So maybe not the best picture after all ; )
Here is the kiss. I tried to pick photos that were a bit dark and obscure since I didn't get permission to put their faces on my blog. I don't want to be flashing their moments across the web, so this is as detailed as you will get. But you can see how gorgeous it was and the bride and her dress were a vision! At the end they drove away in a rickshaw, which of course was so cool. this was the tail end of it... I guess none of us thought to tie on tin cans.... It was really cute. We had a wonderful dinner with lots of laughter and it was wonderful to see everyone again. (its been 10 years since we have see some of them!) Congrats to the bride and groom and Good Luck!

okey-dokey people. its monday, so head on out there and have a glorious time... and don't take no crap from no one! (I'm starting to wonder if this should be our new family mantra, what with kindergarten and bus riding starting in the fall. OY! I am getting scared about bullies!)
Have a good one!

loves~
