WOW! Can you believe that it's friday? I am beyond excited. It has rained all week, the husb has been working late for the last two weeks and he finally is taking a half day to take the kids so I can go shopping with a friend. I am SO excited, I can't even contain myself. They were supposed to go on a Father and Son's campout but the rain is so miserable I think they will camp in the living room instead. Regardless, a great time will be had by all! So lets get crackin' on today eh? Here is my card for today's 365 Card Cosmo Cricket Challenge:
The challenge is to use bold colors and lines all over the card. I pulled out one of my favorite paper lines by Cosmo Cricket: Hello Sunshine. It is bright and fun and has a lot of these "grid patterns" in it. I learned this technique over at Jennifer McGuire's blog. That woman is a genius with an ink pad, I tell ya! Basically you score the lines through the patterned paper, fold the paper and sand each score line and then rub it with an ink pad to help it pop. Its a fun technique that you should try! Click on THIS LINK for the tutorial. Ok, that's all for today. Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you tomorrow for the last day of our Cosmo Cricket Week (*sniff * sniff*). What a glorious time it has been!
love to you
