365 Cards: White Space Challenge

Challenge: Use only 1/3 of the card (either top or bottom) for the embellishments and leave the rest blank.

You know, these 365 Challenges are so fantastic. I cannot tell you how many times I have been sitting at my desk, staring... wondering what the heck I am going to do. It is so great to stretch your mind like that! Take for example, todays card. Boy, is my mind stretched!!!!

I had originally wanted to put the embellishment and sentiment on the bottom 1/3 of the card, but that is what I did for Monday's card and I didn't want to do the same thing, so I put it on the top 1/3 of the card. It's a bit funky looking, I will give you that.  I got this amazing green-pearly card stock from Pam that I used. It's so great in person.
I sewed the ribbon down, then added a strip of pattern paper and then stamped on another strip, cut it out and popped it up with dots. It needed more (to say the least) so I added the circle sentiment and little gem cherries on embroidery floss.  And thats all she wrote...
Thanks for stopping by!
