I got this new catalog in the mail this week. If you haven't checked out the lovelies at Serena & Lily, you are in for quite a treat. This is the add I picked:
I adore this! I love the colors, but also the fine print on the sheets, the bold square and that map on the wall! OY!! I just love it. Here is my take on this inspiration:Using some more of my new stuff from Rubber Soul. This cute little giraffe was actually a freebie they sent with my order. Just a little extra love from them to make my day. Thanks Rubber Soul! They are really great and such nice people at Customer Service. (um.. I think I have said this all before ; )For Christmas I ordered a bunch of PTI Night Sky Shimmer Cardstock for the cards that I actually never got around to sending out *gasp*. But they fit this project perfectly. Up close it really adds some depth to the Fresh Snow ink. You can't tell from the photo, but I popped up the giraffe with thick pop dots to bring it out a bit. I love this image and sentiment. SO much fun to stamp!
I also thought this giraffe went quite well with that map and safari feel of this room. And that was a happy accident!

So thats it for today! Please know you are welcome to play along anytime with Take-Off Tuesday. If something here inspires you, make a card/altered item and leave me a link in the comments. I would love to see what you make!!
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check back tomorrow. It's my day over at 365 Cards!
